Mayfair Natural Oak is solid parquet at its most refined — full 18mm blocks of natural hardwood laid in the timeless herringbone pattern. It is a floor with genuine presence, bringing rhythm, craftsmanship and a quiet sense of luxury to the rooms it lines.
Each block is cut from solid oak through its full thickness, so every piece carries authentic grain, character and the warm, honeyed tone that only real wood develops. Arranged in herringbone, the pattern catches the light and draws the eye across the room.
The surface is lightly brushed to reveal the natural texture of the grain, then sealed with a hard-wearing UV lacquer that leaves a subtle, natural sheen and a resilient, easy-clean finish for day-to-day living.
Equally at home in an elegant period interior or a pared-back modern space, it installs by tongue and groove, nailed or glued over a suitable subfloor. As solid oak, it can be sanded and refinished over the years, so its beauty endures for generations.

Learn More About Engineered Wood Flooring

What it is
Engineered wood flooring has a genuine hardwood top layer bonded over a multi-ply timber core — the authentic look and feel of solid wood with far greater stability underfoot.
Why homeowners choose it
It resists the expansion and contraction that affects solid wood, making it ideal for modern homes — beautiful, hard-wearing and built to last for decades.
Underfloor heating compatible
The layered construction copes well with gentle heat changes, so most of our engineered floors are suitable for use over underfloor heating. Always follow the recommended surface-temperature guidance.
Installation
Can be floated over underlay, glued or secret-nailed. Let the boards acclimatise in the room for around 48 hours before fitting for the best result.
Maintenance & care
Sweep or vacuum regularly and clean with a barely-damp mop and a dedicated wood-floor cleaner. A real-wood wear layer can often be lightly sanded and refreshed over time.
